Heartworm Prevention - Flea and Tick Control
• Oklahoma temperatures stay warm enough throughout the year that fleas and ticks are a year long problem. Mosquitoes, which transmit heartworms to your pets, are also a yearlong problem due to our warmer climate. Fleas, ticks and mosquitoes are a constant threat to your pet. We recommend using flea and tick control and heartworm prevention year round. We offer individual selective products for these treatments. We recommend revolution monthly as prevention for heartworm, fleas, and ticks. Interceptor is an alternative tablet that is taken monthly for heartworm prevention.
